Get Bejeweled With Jewel And Rhinestone Trims
Jewel and Rhinestones are one of the most fashionable trims and decorations for fashion garments. They add that lustrous shine perfect for party dresses, tops, skirts, coats, jeans handbags and hair accessories, such as hair bands. Jewels and rhinestones provide that little extra sparkle to the outfit, creating a glamorous look that is perfect for day and night. Rhinestones are small little gems that give the impression of diamonds. They can often be found in pre-designed rhinestone trims that can be glued, transferred, hot fixed or sewed on. Usually Rhinestone trims or appliqués are straight lined trims, in various shapes (horizontal lines, flowers, curve etc), that give off the sheen of diamonds or some other lustrous gemstone, depending on colour. You can also get your hands on sets of hot fixed rhinestones, which are used by fixing your bespoke design to the garment by using a specialist fixing tool that uses glue and heat to attach the rhinestones. Various colours and sizes (from around 2mm to 8mm) are available for hot fixed rhinestones. Rhinestones not only look good as an edge on a dress, or flowing across a garment at a right angle, they can be incorporated into a garment on other places. For instance rhinestone buttons can add to a coat a classy and sophisticated look.
Jewels are similar in the way they look to rhinestones, however, they tend to be much larger and have more variety shape wise. Whilst, rhinestones are small and often circular, sew on jewels come in a variety of shapes, including triangular, rectangular, circular and oval shapes. Singular jewels can be sewed on as you please to your garment, using a needle and thread. You can also find jewel trims and appliqués, which still require sewing, but are pre-designed. Jewels often draw attention as unlike twinkling rhinestones/rhinestone trims, they are more domineering aesthetically of the garment. They can look fabulous on clothing that wants to draw attention to specific areas, especially the waist, the neck and a woman's curvy bits.
