The Victorian period is the era between the year 1840 and the year 1900. This was the time when the whole world was seeing the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution changed the whole world. However the centre for the industrial revolution was still England. The Victorian styles of houses are really very popular even today. There are so many things to say about the Victorian period either it is the houses or the clothing or even the culture. You should know that the Victorian period is also known for the sexual repression. The clothes used to be huge and by no means can you say that they were revealing. And finally make sure that the house is in best condition. Most of the houses will be around hundred years old. And hence you will have to check that how much you will have to spend in repairing of the house.
