How To Get A Lawn That Is Gorgeous, Green, And Weed Free
Are you tired of struggling to get a green, healthy lawn every spring? Have you broken your back more than once installing a new lawn or spreading new grass seed, only to have turn to weeds in a matter of months? Frustrating isn't? You bet it is.
The good news is it doesn't have to be that way anymore. This article is going to hand you the best lawn care tips for turning a weed-filled, yellow lawn into a head-turning, green turf. Let's begin.
Tip #1 Water deeply:
Water your lawn deeply 3 times a week instead of a few minutes daily. When you do water provide about 1 inch per 12 inches of soil. Deep watering encourages lawn roots to grow deeper. Deeper roots make for all around stronger lawns that can better survive droughts and disease.
Tip #2 Mow no more than 1/3 of grass blade:
Remove one-third or more of the grass blade length will stress a lawn. A stressed lawn will have difficulty taking in nutrients and will appear burnt. Be sure to set you mower at the correct height for your lawn type.
Tip #3 Regularly Apply Fertilizer:
Make no mistake about it; to have a healthy, green lawn fertilizer must be applied. You can do this yourself or hire lawn care service to do it for you. During peak growing season a healthy lawn needs plenty of nutrition to sustain itself. When using fertilizer make sure to follow the package direction or you may end up doing more harm than good.

There are a variety of disease and lawn insects that can destroy your lawn in a heartbeat. It is not always easy to detect the.
