What are Your Sticker Printing Options
Are you having a difficult time tracking all your options for sticker printing? Are you absolutely clueless about what to choose and what are the perfect options for your color stickers? If you are really especially in doubt as to what to do to make great stickers, then you might be glad to know that I have all the explanations that you need to hear in this article. Below are the important options that you will need to choose from, to make your own powerful and effective custom stickers. So understand and take on all this for easier sticker printing.
a. Full color printing, spot color printing, black ink printing – Every time you print stickers, you will have several options when it comes to the inks used for printing. This is the first option that you will typically need to decide on because it will determine how you will go about your designs. You have the option to print your color stickers in full color, use spot colors or just use plain black prints.
Full color sticker printing is the best and most widely used because stickers look better with full color images and text. Spot color printing for stickers on the other hand is your compromise option if you want to save a bit of money but still have colored text or symbol elements in your custom stickers. Black ink sticker printing is of course the last and cheapest option when you want to print simple stickers for labelling etc. One of these three options should suit any kind of budget and theme for sticker printing, so choose what the best is for you.
b. Paper materials: Thin or Thick – When you print custom stickers, you will also have the option to use different paper materials. In a lot of cases, you will probably be asked if you want to print your stickers with thicker more durable paper, or thinner cheaper paper. The best option here all the time is the thicker or heavier type of sticker paper. These materials are of course tougher and should help extend the life of your color stickers. Only use the cheaper thinner materials if you are really that desperate to save money in sticker printing.
c. Coating choices – Most sticker printing companies will also ask you about coating. Stickers are usually printed with some kind of extra coating in its paper. This helps protect the sticker from exposure to moisture in dirt, especially when it has already been stuck in an item or location. If you are printing stickers of your own, it is best to use coatings with special aqueous or plastic based materials to make sure that the color stickers become tough enough. Take note that this will add to your printing costs of course. It should be well worth the money though.
d. Standard, customized and large type sticker printing – Also, in the end, you will also need to pick a specific shape for your stickers of course. You will have the option to print in of standard sticker sizes, as well as large type and customized types of color stickers. I would recommend that you just use those standard stickers for labelling, naming and other small uses for stickers. Advertising stickers of course are best printed with the largest size possible, while all other special kinds of promotional or commercial stickers good printed in a customized manner. Now that you know all these types, it should be easy to decide on the best format and configuration for your color stickers.
